The Season Start

This year´s season started not only with lovely temperatures and lots of sun in April (yes, global warming reaches Iceland...), but also with abundant wildlife in Skjálfandi Bay.

The first whale watching trips of the year had lots of encounters with Minke whales, Humpback whales, porpoises and dolphins.
The puffins started to arrive at the 21st of April, looking forward to digging a lot of cozy holes to lay their eggs on Lundey, the famous Puffin Island in Skálfandi Bay.

Even though the temperature dropped to the normal 5 degrees Celsius in the beginning of May, there’s summer in the air and lots of whales in the Bay...

See you soon in Húsavík!
