Whale Art
From the 21st of June, the Whale Museum hosts an exhibition with artwork that was inspired by whales and dolphins. The exhibition is in the Museum's lecture hall and will continue for the next few weeks.
The artist, Arnþrúður Dagsdóttir, finished her art studies in Holland and has been working as a whale watching guide in Skjálfandi Bay during the summer months. Arnþrúður used, amongst other techniques, wool to create these fine pieces of art and to express the magnificence of these animals. The exhibition is open to everyone.
