Whale Research: 3 Recaptures
A rough evaluation of the 2008 photo identification data revealed: 2 minke whale recaptures and one humpback whale recapture, meaning individuals that have been documented in previous years. One of the minke whale individuals and the humpback whale have been returning each year since 2006. The second minke whale recapture was recorded for the first time in 2004, but had not been seen since.
