For years, the Whale Museum has been doing research in cooperation with the Whale Watching Company North Sailing. The agreement to cooperate exists since 1998 and has now finally been transferred into a written agreement between the Whale Museum, the Húsavík Research Center and North Sailing. The paper signed by all parties involved includes continuing to cooperate, guaranteed space availability on the boat for the researchers, data provision and exchange, public education and publications.
